At Timber and Twine, we're a small, family-run business crafting unique gifts, souvenirs, and homeware inspired by the beauty of the North Carolina mountains. As we balance our Banner Elk storefront with online orders, we appreciate your patience and support. We aim to ship your items as quickly as possible while ensuring every package is packed with care.

Order Processing Time: Most orders are processed and shipped within 3-5 business days (Monday-Friday, excluding holidays). This allows our small team time to prepare your items thoughtfully. During peak seasons (e.g., holidays or mountain tourism surges), processing may take up to 7 business days. You'll receive an email confirmation once your order ships, including tracking details.

Shipping Methods and Rates:

Standard Shipping (USPS Priority Mail or UPS Ground): 2-5 business days transit time after processing. Rates start at $5.99 for orders under $50, calculated at checkout based on weight, dimensions, and destination.
Expedited Shipping (USPS Priority Express or UPS 2nd Day Air): 1-2 business days transit time. Rates start at $15.99, available at checkout for time-sensitive orders.
Free Shipping: Enjoy free standard shipping on all U.S. orders over $75. This helps offset costs and encourages bundled purchases of our mountain-themed souvenirs and homeware.

Shipping Destinations: We currently ship to all 50 U.S. states and APO/FPO addresses. International shipping is not available at this time, but we're planning to add it as we grow—stay tuned!

Tracking and Updates: Once shipped, you'll get a tracking number via email. If you haven't received an update within 7 business days of placing your order, contact us at

We ship from our Banner Elk, NC location. Weather events (e.g., mountain snowstorms) or high store traffic may occasionally cause minor delays—we'll communicate any issues directly.
Pre-order or custom items (e.g., personalized mountain engravings) may require additional processing time, noted on the product page.
If your order contains items from multiple categories (e.g., fragile homeware and apparel), we may split shipments at no extra cost to ensure safe delivery.
